Both components of my diptych were created using the same copper plate. After prepping the plate and making prints of Remnants of Nature, I sanded and reworked the same copper plate to create Emergence of Beauty. The stages of a butterfly forms a parallel with the stages and transformations associated with intaglio printing process.
